Designed with nature.
Documented to prove it.

Amberwood was born of a collaboration between architect and developer — high-density living resolved with a deep connection to nature. Every claim on this page traces to the IGBC Green Homes v3.0 precertification review (#GH230072) or the project's approved drawings.

I.

Energy — the sun works here

+
A 95 kWp rooftop solar plant powers 100% of common-area lighting, backed by energy-efficient fixtures and timer controls on all exterior lighting. Solar water heating serves the residences. The building envelope — 150 mm AAC block walls, high-performance glazing, 0.5 projection-factor shading — achieves an RETV of 12.7 against the 15 allowed, so homes start cooler before a single appliance switches on.
II.

Water — the 44% tap

+
Aerated 1.4 LPM fixtures against the standard 12 LPM, water metering and monitoring, drip irrigation, and a landscape of native drought-tolerant species cut per-home consumption by 44%. Eight recharge pits capture 6,03,000 litres of monsoon rain, and the on-site STP treats 100% of waste water — recycled for flushing and gardens.
III.

Materials — honest to the last plank

+
₹16.6 crore of certified green materials: GreenPro-certified tiles, high recycled-content steel and PPC cement, AAC blocks, and FSC chain-of-custody wood. 84% of the building sourced within 400 km. Construction waste segregated and recycled; five-stream segregation continues in occupancy with a 500 kg/day organic waste converter feeding the gardens.
IV.

Health — air your children can breathe

+
Openable windows 25% larger than code with cross-ventilation paths through every home. Low-VOC paints, adhesives and sealants throughout. Daylight does the day shift in four of five rooms. Universal design — ramps, tactile paths, dual stretcher lifts — makes the building work for every age and ability.

Nature, In Residence

A home for trees
that also houses people.

The world's most admired buildings — Milan's vertical forest, Singapore's garden towers — treat nature as a resident, not a decoration. Amberwood was drawn the same way: a facade abstracted from tree forms, balconies that bloom, and a riverside green that outranks every tower on the skyline.

Cared for, centrally — like the world's best

Bosco Verticale's trees are tended by dedicated gardeners; Amberwood's landscape and green systems are maintained the same way — centrally, professionally, fed by the site's own compost and recycled water, so the greenery is a shared asset, never one resident's chore. The green homes manual hands every family the knowledge to live in it well.

The One-Tree Balcony

One tree is enough
to change your mornings.

Amberwood's in-built planter isn't a vertical forest — it's honest space for one good tree and a few pots. The research on biophilia says that's exactly what matters: wellbeing comes from daily contact with something growing, not from acreage. Click each benefit.

I.
A rested mindStudies of attention restoration consistently associate even brief views of foliage with recovered focus and lower mental fatigue — your tree does this every time you glance up.
II.
Calmer mornings, measurablyResearch links everyday greenery contact with lower stress markers and improved mood. First sight of leaves — before the first notification — sets a different tone.
III.
The three-minute ritualWatering is accidental mindfulness: one unhurried, repetitive act of care each day. Psychologists call it a micro-restoration; your grandmother just called it morning.
IV.
Softer light, softer soundA canopy at the railing diffuses glare, takes the edge off street noise, and cools the breeze entering your living room — comfort you feel before you name it.
V.
Seasons, at arm's lengthOne tree marks time honestly — new leaf, bud, first bloom, the visiting sunbird. A living calendar is a quiet antidote to a scrolling one.

Wellbeing notes reflect widely published biophilic-design and environmental-psychology research; they describe design intent, not medical claims. Tree species indicative — chosen with the landscape team for balcony conditions.

The 500-Metre Privilege

The city can never
close in on you here.

Amberwood sits beside the Pawana's blue line — a no-development band the law draws, not a landscape architect. Around it, the proposed PCMC Development Plan reserves riverfront greens (4/RFR series) and public gardens (PG 4/44–4/56), with the vast Defence lands across the river. Click each benefit to see where it comes from.

I.
A living air filterThe westerly breeze crosses river water and reserved greens before it reaches your window — scrubbed of dust, measurably fresher. Better AQI, by geography.
II.
Nature's air-conditioner, city-scaleWater bodies and green belts are the strongest antidote to the urban heat island — evenings here cool the way the rest of the city forgets to.
III.
Sunlight & sky, guaranteedNothing tall can rise in the blue-line band or on the reservations — your light path and open sky are protected by the map itself.
IV.

Inside the Home

Details you'll live with every day.

01

The flexible box room

An extra small room that transforms with your life — study today, nursery tomorrow, studio after that. Flexibility built into the plan, not added to it.

02

Ceilings above the norm

Floor-to-floor heights exceed residential standards, so rooms stay generous even after false ceilings — light, air and proportion preserved.

03

Wardrobe niches, clear floors

Every bedroom's wardrobe sits in a dedicated niche — no furniture eating into the room. Clean layouts, uncluttered living.

04

A study that isn't the dining table

A distraction-free workspace separate from the bedroom — designed for how people actually work now.

05

Balconies that bloom

In-built planter boxes green every balcony and compose the facade — the tree-inspired elevation grows more alive each year.

06

Dual stretcher lifts

A central core with two stretcher lifts — a detail most buyers never think of, and every family is grateful for once.

Rooted in Place

A project that gives back
to its neighbourhood.

I.

The well & the shrine, conserved

An old well and small shrine on site are being preserved and turned into a temple — a space for community gathering that keeps the land's memory intact.

II.

Amenities the public can share

Ground-level parks, play areas and seating open to the neighbourhood — the boundary wall doesn't end the generosity.

III.

Housing for every income

Social housing integrated into the project under MHADA — a well-balanced community where the development's benefits are shared broadly.

IV.

A road for the neighbours

Access through our plot connects the one behind it — goodwill built into the masterplan itself.

The Planning Masterstrokes

Constraints, turned into privileges.

01

A green edge no one can ever build on

The river's red-and-blue-line zone made part of the site unbuildable — so it became a dense, permanent riverside landscape. Your green view is protected by law, forever. It alone contributed 15% of the green certification score.

02

The podium that rose above the problem

A 4-storey commercial tower fronted the site. The answer: a 4-level podium with the garden placed exactly at the commercial roof level — every residence looks over it, not at it. Parking solved, views unlocked.

03

L-shape, set to the rear

The towers sit at the back of the plot, away from road noise, opening the site to landscape and light — openness where the market builds to the boundary.

04

Homes with more headroom — literally

Floor-to-floor heights exceed residential norms, so interiors stay spacious even after false ceilings. A flexible box room adapts from study to store to staff room. Wardrobe niches keep floors clear.

05

An amenity floor most projects can't fit

50% of project area is dedicated to amenities across ground, podium and terrace — including a 12,000 sq.ft indoor amenity floor with 15 ft ceilings: theatre, squash, gym, library, sports simulator.

06

Details that age well

Dual stretcher lifts in a central core. In-built balcony planters that green the facade. Halon-free fire systems. EV-ready parking. The facade itself is drawn from tree forms — nature, abstracted.
